Rev. Douglas Olds: San Francisco/Marin County, California, United States; Rev. Dr. Douglas Olds is a PC(USA) minister focusing on historical and pastoral theology, the spirituality of Atmospheric Trusteeship, virtue ethics https://t.ly/PvMl, and his current research is in historical poetics. His doctoral dissertation, “Praxis for Care of the Atmosphere in Times of Climate Change: Analysis, Quantitative Methods, and Ecclesial Development" followed his performance of carbon audits (with recommendations for abatement and mitigation) at Bay Area churches and seminaries. His current research has the working title, "Outside Absolutism's Box: JG Herder’s 'Concerning The Spirit of Hebrew Poetry'--A New Translation and Theological Analysis of the Protestant Enlightenment’s Sunrise Document.' In tandem he is writing and posting his own metaphysical poetry: “A Sensorium of Brokenness and Delight:” https://shorturl.at/ekoJ0 His avid avocation as a social dancer forms both the practical and theoretical foundation for his communally shared exploration of worship as kinesthetics of emplacement: expressing shalom as loving's invigoration to reconstruct relational voids of stasis .
